Sometimes: Song & Video
Sometimes we want to forget, but it's impossible. This song speaks of that, of those loves that stay with us forever. Based on the poem "Sometimes" from the book "Lost In Your Eyes."
Sometimes I remember you at dawn
Even if I don’t want to, a smile appears
Sometimes I dream of you like a fairy tale
And I share my delusions with you, no joke.
When the rain wets my lips
I feel the warmth of your forbidden kisses
Sometimes I write to you in wise verses
There was love hidden between texts
In spite of myself, the love doesn’t go away
Like a shadow, your reflection lingers
It’s a fire that never goes out
Even if I deny it, I’m under your mirror.
In every corner, I find you again
Even if I pretend you no longer matter to me
Those memories ignite their fire
As if they were concubines in my soul.
In spite of myself, the love doesn’t go away
Like a shadow, your reflection lingers
It’s a fire that never goes out
Even if I deny it, I’m under your mirror.
I try to lose you on every wave
But the sea never erases your footprints
Our story, no one controls it
Even if reason devours it in my mind.
